Description A red back spider has a smooth body with a red stripe. It has 6 legs and a venom bite. Habitat Red back spiders live everywhere in Australia, even in houses. Diet A Red Back Spider eats insects or small lizards. How to catch It’s Food It catches its food by making a sticky web which his predators gets stuck in. Caring for young Female spiders rarely leave the web, but sometimes it needs to leave the web for food. Life Cycle A male spider hangs on a female’s web and shows it’s abdomen to impress her.

Habitat The Bottlenose Dolphin lives in Australia in the Atlantic Ocean. Diet The Bottlenose Dolphins eats many Types of fish. How it catches it’s food The dolphin catches it’s food by jumping out of the water. Life Cycle The baby dolphin is born after 11 to 12 months the a womb. Between three to six years old, the baby leaves it’s mother. Behaviour The behaviour of a dolphin is a very friendly and intelligent behaviour.

Classification The Quokka is an Australian land mammal and marsupial. Description It looks like a small wallaby (even though it isn’t). They have thick fur. Habitat They live in Perth in forests on Rottnest Island. Diet Quokkas eat different types of grasses and shrubs. How it catches it food It leans down and munches Reproduction (Life Cycle) It is pregnant for 6-9 months before having live babies. It lives in its pouch until it is too big. Then it will turn into a quokka.
