|
The SRC is a very active body within the school and is made up of two representatives from each class from Year 2 to Year 6. Our SRC is led by our school captains and vice captains. Through positive discussion and debate, as well as a democratic voting system, the students bring issues to and from our meetings for consideration.
Some SRC activities this year include:
The SRC provides leadership opportunities for many students identified by their peers and teachers. |

SRC REPORT FOR TERM 2 WEEK 7 - 11/6/09
Year 2 suggested that we should have timers on the bubblers so we don’t waste water. This was a great idea but unfortunately it didn’t pass.
5J suggested soccer nets so the ball can’t roll down to the mini oval or up the hill. This did not pass because people already use the goal posts for goals and eventually there would be too much wear and tear.
5M suggested that some students may be able to ride scooters to school. The vote was very close, but it didn’t pass because it would be very unsafe for students to ride their scooters to school.
Finally 6D suggested that we should have vegetarian pizzas in the canteen. Everyone thought this was a great idea and it passed.
Our next meeting will be held in Mr Maters room at eating lunch this Thursday 18/6/09.
Thank you SRC |

SRC REPORT TERM 2 WEEK 5
On Thursday the 28th of May, SRC discussed issues such as a T ball competition in term 4. This was passed! So that’s something to look forward to!
We also discussed a Year 6 fright night. It will be Year 6 only because it’s their last year at this school and it won’t be as crowded. So year 6 be prepared!
SRC tasted vanilla malt milk to see if we could have it in the canteen. The milk was delicious! We decided that the milk must go in the canteen. So next time you’re near the canteen give it a try!
The next SRC meeting will be this Thursday 4th June so stay tuned.
Thankyou |
