FACILITIES Cherrybrook Public School is situated in leafy, expansive and attractive grounds. Two spacious sporting ovals offer students the opportunity to participate in peer support activity days, fitness and athletic carnivals on site. Modern facilities include an extensive Library, Hall and Computer Room. The Canteen is open every day offering a varied and nutritious menu. The Certified OOSH (Out Of School Hours) Care Centre offers before and after school care to students on the grounds in "Dorothy’s Cottage". Parents join with the school in regular working bees to improve and maintain our grounds and gardens.

to 6 are divided into four house teams:
HISTORY
While Cherrybrook Public School was open for students in 1971,
it was officially opened by the Minister for Education, The Hon.
Mr E.A. Willis, in October, 1972. The highest class was
Year 4 taught by the Principal, Mr L. Escot. The entire school
comprised the current Year 6 and Kindergarten buildings.
Initially there were six teachers on staff. |
