Cherrybrook Public School provides students with a comprehensive education in a caring and beautifully presented environment. The school is supported by a very strong parent body in the Parents and Citizens’ Association. Cherrybrook enjoys an excellent reputation in the community as a school with high academic standards and one that reflects the values and attitudes that are found in students' homes. There are programs, in addition to the regular curriculum subjects, to develop skills in the performing and creative arts and to meet the specific needs of students. The experienced staff is held in high esteem by the total school community. The school’s motto is “To Learn and Grow” and its mission is to “Educate for the Whole of Life”.
