At Cherrybrook PS we report on student progress in the following ways:
Semester 1 - Student Portfolio and Parent Teacher Interviews (end of Term
2)
Semester 2 – Student Portfolios incorporating a written Report (end
of Term 4)
At the beginning of each year parents are invited to an Information Night
where all teachers outline programs of work they have planned for the
students and inform parents of class, grade and school programs. Any questions
parents may have are answered at this time.
Parents are always welcome to arrange interviews with staff members. Appointments
can be arranged through the School Office or by writing to the teacher.
Parents are invited to school on a regular basis to view and participate
in activities and special events. Information about these activities is
disseminated by notes and the newsletter.
The school produces a “Weekly Newsletter” in which events
and school news are presented. These are distributed to all families every
Tuesday.
